Use Free Weights To Build Up Muscles

It is better to use free weights if muscle building is the goal rather than using machine weights which do not work well in stimulating the fine and support muscles . The stabilizers and the synergistic muscles should be stimulated for they are the ones which increase the strength of the body, not the bulging muscles that people obviously see. If the supporting muscles are stimulated properly there would be better chances of increasing the mass. Obviously the machine weights would do just as well, however, they do it so slowly that it will take a lot of time, so why insist on them?

Free weights could be a challenge to any muscle builder's muscles. Free weights do not just mean dumbbells which can weigh ten pounds or more, what are needed are heavier free weights. The proper way to use the free weights would be to gradually increase the weight and to slowly work out at limited times. Try to do infrequent weight lifting and do more cardio. If there is more weight lifting than this on an unaccustomed body it would only result to straining and overworking the muscles which would not be healthy for the body.

It is recommended that only up to eight repetitions of weight lifting should be done which would not injure or strain the muscles unknowingly. Muscles which are strained from over working them would not be healthy and neither would they be strong, not only that, they would also be unattractive to look at for they would only look bulky . Any observer would see that a well developed muscle would look attractive on its own and on the body that it is on, that the body would look well with them. With lighter weights, the stimulation on the muscles will happen but the mass would take too long to develop.

With the weight lifting, drink proper amounts of water, not the sweetened type, plain water would do well. Then there is the right kind of food that one has to take as well as the supplements and important meal replacements. Natural food should be ingested - carbohydrates, fats and proteins.
